The topic for the Holy Word for Morning Revival is the Crystallization-Study of Isaiah. The title of week 10 is:
Christ as a Crown of Glory and a Diadem of Beauty for the Reward of the Overcomers; a Foundation, a Tested Stone, and a Precious Corner Stone for the Building of God; and a Supplying, Caring, and Covering King for the Kingdom of God.
The verses for Day 2 are:
2 Corinthians 4:8 – Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, with which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will recompense me in that day, and not only me but also all those who have loved His appearing.
Revelation 2:10 – …Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Also mentioned later in the reading is:
James 1:12 – Blessed is the man who endures trial, because when he has become approved by testing, he will receive the crown of life, which He promised to those who love Him.
In each verse the word crown is underlined as well as an accompanying word that is required to receive the crown.
Faith and love are required to receive the crown. Faith and love are two excellent virtues of the believers in Christ and are mentioned together throughout the Bible.
Titus 3:15 – All who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in faith. Grace be with you all.
Galations 5:6 -For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything nor uncircumcision, but faith avails, operating through love.
Ephesians 6:23 -Peace to the brothers and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philemon 5 – Hearing of your love and the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and to all the saints.
The crown will be the reward to the overcoming believers. What does it take to be an overcomer? Faith and love. Faith and love are the reality and expression of God. When we contact and receive God, we also get faith and love.
In the end, being an overcomer and receiving the crown is not about what works we have done but how much God has been added into us.
