Isaiah 53:10 says, “He will see a seed.” That’s Christ. Verse 11 goes on to say, “He will see the fruit of the travail of His soul”. That’s us. When we were regenerated, we received this incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23). As we grow and mature and enjoy Christ, we are like a piece of fruit that contains seeds. We are the seeds in Matthew 13 that the Lord scatters. Mark 4:14 says that the sower sows the Word. In the book of Acts, the believers are like the sower scattering the Word throughout the land. Acts 8:4 says “Those therefore who were scattered went throughout the land announcing the word as the gospel.” Acts 13:49 says, “And the word of the Lord was carried through the whole region.”
The Greek word for carry also means to toss about. We need to not only carry the word but toss it as well, on all kinds of soil (people).
The Word of God is living (Hebrews 4:12). It is growing. Acts 6:7, 12:24, and 19:20 say, “the word of God grew.” The more we eat the Word (Jeremiah 15:16) and give it the ground in our heart to grow, the more fruit we will bear (John 15:16).
This is what’s going down for the next two weeks. Over 1,000 Bible believers and eaters full of the word are ready to unload some seeds on 30 cities all over the country. Many seeds will be sown during these sowing trips. But we aren’t talking about apple seeds. These kingdom people are dropping kingdom seeds that are going to bring God’s kingdom into fruition.
